This cover screams 90s. This was a group from Pittsburgh whose fate I know nothing about, beyond the PAT bus ads they were doing in the mid-90s. The name 'Attic' was a reference to Pittsburgh being some unearthed gold mine of Hip-Hop talent. Admittedly the Misfits weren't the most amazing group out there, but they came at a time when hearing any kind of Hip-Hop coming out of the city was a rarity, no thanks to WAMO not supporting local artists really. This is a CD rip. Were there any other notable rap trios with 2 females and 1 male? Can't seem to think of any right now.

Misfits in the Attic - Kick It Anyway (CD5)

One of the female MC's, I believe Ms. Chievous, upstarted The Soul Pitt magazine. Suga Free did some production for various national artists in the late 90s-early 00s but haven't heard from him since. One of the female of MC's, I believe Ms. Chievous again, released an album with her husband around 2002.
In regard to the Misfits In the Attic name... There was a group in Pittsburgh that came before this crew, they went by Misfits From the Attic. Rumor was that this crew bit the name from the original Misfits crew.
I do agree with your comment about WAMO not regularly supporting local artists but as a former employee and being there during the Misfits era, Al B. Slyk promoted the Misfits very much that's why where a lot of the fame in Pittsburgh came from. They were a great group but without the support from the station they might not have had the same success.
